CMC connects people who wish to support and encourage responders with opportunities to do so. Many hands make light work. In addition, we connect those serving with each other, to help strengthen them and build community. We also seek to provide marriage-building opportunities through coaching and hospitality.
Demanding careers can bring difficult side-effects. CMC offers coaching and support to assist with resiliency, stress management, and trauma recovery.
Through station trainings, debriefs, small group settings, and individual coaching sessions, responders can have a safe place to heal and a compassionate professional to walk with them. This confidential interaction happens outside of the usual channels available at their agencies.
Crossroads Farm is a 45-acre restorative hospitality retreat, responders are given space to rest, heal, reflect, or simply spend time in an environment that does not require anything from them. Cabins, camping, hiking trails, and activities offer a chance to unplug and be restored. All that and limited cell coverage.
Sometimes, responders need to know what is available for them. CMC helps link the need with the resource; be that housing, equipment, services, or friendships. CMC's growing database of local, regional, and national resources can help do this more quickly and efficiently.
Crossroads Mission Care’s vision is to create places where appreciation, self-care, and restoration are accessible, feel close to home, and are a mainstay of military, civil and spiritual first responder culture.
Crossroads Mission Care provides restorative hospitality and support programs to those who serve others during times of crisis; specifically focusing on spiritual and civil first responders, as well as military personnel. Our goal is to help them remain effective in their calling.

Patti Carter
Patti has been called to use her family therapy experience, counseling degree, and love of people to help bring healing and resiliency those who serve others professionally. With 35 years in counseling and on the mission field, she brings a variety of tools and experiences to help others heal and thrive.
Gil Carter
Gil's heart is for equipping and connecting people serving on life's frontlines with those who would help and support their mission. He employs his broad helping skills and administrative strengths to meet responders' needs, helping them stay in the field and on mission longer.

Gil & Patti Carter
have been in the mission field for over 25 years in Asia, Europe & the United States. Both have master's degrees, Patti in counseling and Gil in education. Having seen the tremendous attrition rate among missionaries in the field, they formed Crossroads Mission care to get missionaries what they need to stay in the field. This includes emotional, prayer, and logistical support.
Seeing similar issues across like-minded groups who work for others unselfishly, Crossroads' mission has expanded and now includes programs for civil first responders, pastors, and military families.
